2. AI TECHNOLOGY AND ACCURACY LIMITATIONS You acknowledge that this Service utilizes Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Computer Vision technology. These systems are probabilistic, meaning they operate on estimates and statistical patterns, not definitive facts.

• Visual Limitations: The AI analyzes food based solely on visual surface features. It cannot detect hidden ingredients (e.g., cooking oils, added sugars, butter), internal density, or specific preparation methods. Consequently, calorie and macronutrient estimates may vary significantly from actual values.
• Micronutrient Inaccuracy: The AI is specifically unreliable in estimating sodium, cholesterol, and dissolved fats, as these are invisible to computer vision. You agree NOT to rely on the App for monitoring these specific nutrients if you have a medical condition.
• Hallucinations: The AI Coach may produce “hallucinations”, statements that sound factual but are incorrect. You agree not to rely on the AI’s outputs as the sole source of truth and to verify all nutritional data against official product packaging or databases.

3. NO MEDICAL ADVICE OR DOCTOR-PATIENT RELATIONSHIP MackCrows and its employees are not healthcare providers. Use of this App does not create a doctor-patient relationship. You agree to consult with a physician before making any changes to your diet, medication, or exercise routine based on information from this App. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay in seeking it because of something you have read on this App.

STRICT EXCLUSION: ALLERGIES AND FOOD SAFETY WARNING: DO NOT USE THIS APP FOR ALLERGY MANAGEMENT. The AI technology is incapable of detecting the presence of allergens (including but not limited to peanuts, tree nuts, gluten, dairy, soy, eggs, and shellfish). It cannot detect cross-contamination. Reliance on this App for food safety could result in severe injury or death. MackCrows explicitly disclaims all liability for allergic reactions arising from the use of this Service.

5. WEIGHT LOSS DISCLAIMER Weight loss results vary based on individual biology, genetics, adherence, and other factors. MackCrows does not guarantee any specific weight loss results. Any forward-looking projections generated by the AI (e.g., “You will lose 5 lbs this week”) are hypothetical mathematical estimates and not guarantees of physiological results. 6. EATING DISORDERS AND MENTAL HEALTH This Service is not intended for individuals with a history of eating disorders (such as anorexia or bulimia). This App is not a crisis intervention service.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MackCrows , its employees, and its AI technology partners from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from your reliance on the Service.

8. THIRD-PARTY AI PROVIDERS This Service is powered by third-party Large Language Models. These providers prohibit the use of their models for high-risk medical advice. By using this Service, you acknowledge that the AI is a non-medical tool and agree to abide by the Acceptable Use Policies of our technology partners.

9. AGE RESTRICTION AND PROTECTION OF MINORS This Service is strictly limited to users aged 18 years or older. MackCrows prohibits the use of its AI coaching tools by minors due to the risks of encouraging unhealthy dieting behaviors or body image issues. Accounts found to be used by minors will be terminated immediately.

10. DATA PRIVACY IN CHAT You agree NOT to enter sensitive health information (Protected Health Information or PHI), such as medical diagnosis codes, medication lists, or detailed medical history, into the AI Chat interface. The AI Chat is not a HIPAA-compliant medical record system. You grant MackCrows a license to use anonymized inputs to improve the accuracy of our AI models.
